Okra
Okra is a tall-growing, warm-season, annual vegetable which is also known as gumbo. The immature pods are used for soups, canning and stews as well as fried or boiled vegetable. Okra has valuable nutrients, most of which is fiber both soluble and insoluble which helps reduce cholesterol, the risk of heart disease, and some forms of cancer. Moreover, it also contains high vitamin B6 and folic acid.
